A WOMAN who swapped her conventional home for a camper van so she could travel the world has revealed how she makes money on the road.
In 2018 Jess and her boyfriend Greg purchased an ex-prison van, spending six months transforming it into the ‘ultimate tiny house on wheels.’

They left their conventional life behind and moved into their home with their rescue dog, travelling across America, sharing updates from the van on TikTok.
But embarking on a ‘nomad’ lifestyle doesn’t come for free with many of the couple’s followers desperate to know how they afford to live.
And Jess was happy to put an end to their wondering in a recent video.
“No lottery tickets, no trust funds, let’s talk about it,” she says.
“I have a part time remote office job, I work in digital marketing but these are available in almost every field after the pandemic.
“I also have a small online business definitely recommend getting this set up before you start travelling because it can be a lot of work
“Or if you’re like me and you don’t have a great idea for a business of your own you can buy one I purchased my business through Flippa in 2020.
“I have also done a tonne of freelance work over the past few years.”
Initially the couple had set out with the intention of making a living purely of their band, and they did so successfully for some time.
Jess adds: “Greg and I originally got into this lifestyle to tour full time and we did that successfully for three years.”
The video certainly had a lot of people inspired, with several admitting they were hoping to follow in the couple’s footsteps.
