In fact, the Warriors are 5-1 during these playoffs when Curry is not the leading scorer for his squad.
That is exactly what happened on Monday night and, sure enough, the Warriors grabbed a major victory.

Monday night was massive for the Warriors – they were looking for a massive victory at home and a chance to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals.
That’s exactly what happened, as Golden State grabbed a vital 104-94 win.
They now stand just one game shy of winning the Finals.
And how did Curry do during this vital game?
He wasn’t his usual self, scoring just 16 points and going scoreless from beyond the three-point line.
This was the first time in literal years that Curry didn’t sink a trey, which was startling to see.
But it didn’t matter because other Warriors players were there to fill the void.
For example, Andrew Wiggins was enormous, sinking a team-high 26 points and 13 rebounds.
Gary Payton II was there for 15 while Jordan Poole also poured in 14.
Curry was an important part of the team but not the most important and that made all the difference.
