One tip for saving money is so simple and it could mean Britons are £200 richer after just a few clicks. Money experts say if people want to change one thing over the next year, it should be this.
Dad of two, Lee Chambers told Express.co.uk how he first heard about cashback sites years ago but only tried them out when he was so skint he was forced to move back in with his parents.
The first time he tried it he made £200 “in just a few clicks” and he hasn’t looked back since.
Over the years, he’s raked in an extra £25,000 and he’s got the receipts to prove it!
Lee said: “I do all my renewals by cancelling and buying a new policy with cashback for things like energy, insurance, mobile, TV, broadband and car breakdown cover.”

They continued: “Things like my garden shed, washing machine, car insurance, home insurance and everyday items.”
Another customer said: “I’ve been a member with them for almost four years, and I’ve never had any problems with them tracking or declining any valid transaction.
“So far TopCashback has paid me £1,617.88.”
Although it’s a really simple way to make extra cash, the MSE website advises Britons follow five tips.
37-year-old Lee said adopting Martin Lewis’ advice on cashback helped him get back on his feet after being made redundant.
As his fortunes improved, he carried on the habit because once people get into the swing of it, it’s a no-brainer.
Lee added: “In the beginning it takes some getting used to and you have to keep reminding yourself to go through a cashback site, but before long it becomes second nature.
“For me, it’s made my Christmas spending more sustainable and even helped me when I’ve been a bit short.”
